To honour Greg’s memory an annual fishing competition has been organised in his name to raise funds for brain cancer research.
Date: 16 – 18 Aug
Day: Fri – Sun
Location: Reflections Burrinjuck Waters NSW

Event Description

On the 3rd November 2014 we lost our great friend Greg Whitehead, to brain cancer. Greg’s passion was fishing and any spare moment he had he would be wetting a line. Whether it was the Northern Territory, NSW South Coast, or any of the inland dams or rivers around his hometown of Harden, NSW.

To honour Greg’s memory an annual fishing competition has been organised in his name “The Greg Whitehead Fishing Challenge”, the first competition was held at Burrinjuck Dam NSW in 2015. All proceeds raised are donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation.

This years dates are 16-18th August 2024 and is held at Reflections Burrinjuck Waters NSW.
